- Plug and play: enable the plugin and a minimap appears on every map. No extra setup required.
- The minimap image is created automatically from your map tiles and parallax (RPG Maker MZ).
- Use your own hand-drawn minimap image for any map with a single map note tag.
- Save the generated minimap to a PNG file and use it as a base for your own artwork (also works in MV).
- Events, the player, party members and vehicles are shown as icons on the minimap.
- Automatic icons for events, battles, shops and Alpha ABS enemies, and icons chosen by the event’s character graphic (doors, chests, NPCs, monsters…).
- Ready-made icon set for the default RTP graphics included.
- Set up icons in event comments and Actor notes: custom image or IconSet icon, size, priority and visibility distance.
- Edge icons: important objects outside the visible area are shown on the minimap edge and point in their direction.
- Change event icons during the game, e.g. quest markers on NPCs.
- Animated minimap icons.
- Zoom in, zoom out and opacity buttons, location name and player coordinates under the minimap.
- Hotkeys to show / hide and zoom the minimap.
- Optional player arrow that rotates with the player direction.
- The minimap becomes semi-transparent when the player walks under it and while messages are shown.
- Hide the minimap with a switch during cutscenes, or turn it off for specific maps.
- Per-map settings: zoom, image quality, scroll limits and custom location name.
- Any minimap shape and frame: replace the mask, background and frame images.
- Control everything from events with plugin commands (MZ) and script calls (MZ and MV).
- Compatible with PKD Fog Of War: unexplored areas stay hidden on the minimap too.
- Alpha NET Z support: other players are shown on the minimap.
- Optimized for large maps.
⚠️ The free (BASIC) version is limited to 16 icons on the minimap at the same time and doesn’t support animated icons.
